I tried, Jolene...it was too hard. Especially with Joan's super-short buzz. Her "I Love Rock-N-Roll" mullet went slightly better, but it still looked like crap. Sorry...I can't help you out. I think you should go for the real short and black look. It'll be hot. :) And if not, it'll grow.
